Download RustDesk
This is the right one for almost every Windows PC. When it finishes, open the downloaded file to install.
If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" box: click More info, then Run anyway. That message appears for any new app, not because anything is wrong.
Not sure which? Click the Apple menu (top-left) → About This Mac. If it says Apple M1/M2/M3/M4, choose Apple Silicon. If it says Intel, choose Intel Mac. Macs bought since 2021 are almost always Apple Silicon.
Open the downloaded file, then drag RustDesk into your Applications folder.
Mac will ask for two permissions the first time you open RustDesk - Screen Recording and Accessibility. You must allow both, or we won't be able to see or control your screen.

Tell us your ID
Back on the RustDesk main screen you'll see Your Desktop with an ID (a row of numbers) and a Password. Read those out to us, or send them through, and we'll connect.
You'll see everything we do, and you can end the session at any time by closing RustDesk.
Stuck at any step? Call us on 09 869 0009 and we'll talk you through it.
